CONCEPT
The Classe et Aurum City Club is located in the penthouse suite of the Broadgate Tower in London. Classe et Aurum is a members only facility, and appeals to individuals who have relatively high personal incomes, are well-educated, travel internationally often, and are knowledgeable about art and design. The City Club includes two private apartments, for members who are in need of a place to stay while traveling in London, as well as a restaurant and kitchen, staff offices, private dining rooms, a bar and lounge, and a tea lounge. Arx Interiors is specifically designing and specifying the Member’s Apartment and Suite, the Bar and Lounge, the Presidential Dining Room, and the Reception area.
The design of Classe et Aurum centers around the idea of integrating the long history of London architecture with the ever-changing modern design of a thriving cultural city. The color palette of gold, navy, violet, and indigo is highly associated with success, power, intelligence, wealth, luxury, and extravagance, which will attract high-profile members to the club. Warm neutrals, luxurious fabrics, metallic accents, and wood finishes are utilized to create this warm and lush environment.
